Guide and direct preventative maintenance and repairs for the mill.

• Troubleshoot and repair all SDI LaFarga equipment
• Mobile equipment, 480V three phase power distributions,
• conveyors, roll replacement, Siemens S7 PLCs,
• VFDs to pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Provide shift support and leadership as it relates to electrical safety, controls and equipment operation
• Perform projects, install new equipment and assist in production.
• Repairs to Mechanical/Electrical equipment
• Other duties as assigned
• Troubleshoot and repair all SDI LaFarga equipment

• Formal technical education, preferred
• 3-5 years maintenance experience
• Must be able to read electrical / mechanical drawings
• PLC and drive experience a plus
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and a desire to problem solve
• Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
• Possess a self-starter quality for seeking input and details from resources
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
• Must have good math skills, as well as good oral communication skills
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
• Possess a willingness to work in cold/hot outside conditions as well as hot inside conditions
