• Coordinate metallurgical activities with fellow engineers and shift supervisors
• Work with operators to teach steelmaking process
• Support and develop safety improvements within the process
• Assist with coordination of ISO activities for department
• Provide continuous product and process improvement
• Evaluate new process technologies for system improvements and implementation

• BS degree or equivalent in Metallurgy, Material Science or related engineering field
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work without supervision
