Responsibilities

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing processes and workflows.
  • Document current processes using process mapping techniques such as flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and value stream mapping.
  • Analyze process documentation to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Suggest IT controls to mitigate risks related to security, data integrity, and compliance.
  • Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support project managers in tracking project milestones, tasks, and deliverables.
  • Communicate project status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain projects using project management software.

Qualifications

Experience/Requirements: 

 

Required: 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in process mapping techniques and tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience or coursework in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and technologies commonly used in business environments.
