We are looking for a high-energy candidate to fill our Operational Technology intern position for the Engineering Department. This position is for the summer, however, could be extended.

• Configure & Installation of Networking equipment into production environments.
• Configure network monitoring systems.
• Ensure Network equipment configurations are backed up.
• Able to help teach basic troubleshooting skill and techniques to shift support staff.

• Candidate must be pursuing a degree in Network Engineering, Network Management, or Cyber Security and completed the sophomore year.
• Minimum GPA 3.0
• Strong work ethic and attention for details
• Willing to follow ALL SDI safe work practices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Proficiency with basic networking principles
• Demonstrate a strong adherence to security practices.
• Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and work with people from all levels and backgrounds.
• Willing to work in the Mill and well as the office.

Preferred:

• Some experience in Network Design
• Some experience with Operational Technologies
• Project planning experience
• Familiar with Windows based security practices.
