Overview

Lead and manage specific markets as assigned with the support of inside, and outside sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of specific markets through the management of a regional sales team (direct reports), including but not limited to:
  • Establish and execute financial objectives for your entire market group (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Establish a plan to meet these goals with the sales team. § Seek, find, and develop new customers.
  • Educate potential customers on Engineered Bar Products along with being an advocate for all of SDI.
  • Work within the current ERP systems to develop, track, and analyze key sales analytics.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate feedback to the management team on market conditions and deploy effective strategies for those market conditions.
  • Be an active participant in the strategic planning with the entire sales team, including accurate forecasting of sales volume and pricing to maximize profit for the assigned market segments.
  • Collaborate and plan with all other departments including Customer Service, Production, and Finance to ensure customer-related issues are addressed along with pushing our overall sales execution plans.
  • Travel may be required on a regular basis to service customers or attend industry events.

Qualifications

  • Position and office are located at the Engineered Bar Products Division (Pittsboro, IN).
  • Strong aptitude for business managing of the entire sales, manufacturing, and shipping lifecycle.
  • Successful sales record of negotiating and closing deals.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to create vision for the Engineered Bar Product Division.
  • Desire and ability to develop teammates, in addition to self.
  • High energy, self-starter, well-organized.
  • Ability to establish and meet goals and objectives, in addition to completing projects, in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Proficient in Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and navigating ERP systems.

 

Preferred:

  • 4-year college degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Prior knowledge in the SBQ industry.
