This is a Summer 2025 internship. 

We are looking for a motivated team member to join our tax department, where you will gain first-hand experience that comes with a career at a Fortune 500 company. As a Tax Intern, you will assist with a variety of projects, including: the preparation of tax returns, research, and assistance with the R&D tax credit. You will receive guidance and mentoring from our tax professionals and have an opportunity to expand your knowledge of taxation, deliver superior results to our stakeholders, and experience the Steel Dynamics culture.

• Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• GPA 3.0 or above
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team coordination, and the ability to work with all levels of management, clients and vendors
• Must be self-driven and able to complete tasks without specific direction
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office is a must
