May be assigned to operate Locomotive, Scrap Loader or Scrap cranes.

• Work Safely and follow job procedures
• Inspections and minor maintenance of mobile equipment
• Operate any equipment to handle scrap metals, as directed
• Job specific training will occur upon assignment
• 1 year service required before bidding other jobs within SDI
• Any other tasks/duties asked of by Supervisor

Required 

• Ability to communicate effectively

Preferred

• Scrap knowledge, heavy equipment experience
