The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions for a Weighmaster.

This position will be responsible for safely and effectively processing commercial traffic from arrival through the departure process. 

• Safety Oriented
• Efficiently and accurately coordinate commercial and commodity traffic through the inbound/outbound truck scales
• Communicate clear directions/safety expectations to all carriers entering the facility
• Understand and operate the scales, radiation detectors and associated computer systems
• Understand and operate multiple transportation computer applications
• Problem solving and decision making
• Print and organize receiving documents
• Process paperwork and data entry
• Perform other duties as required

• Moderate computer skills and experience.
• Ability to receive, communicate and organize information quickly and effectively pass information to appropriate outlets.
• Ability to work with a wide range of persons and communication levels.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Candidate must have excellent problem solving and communication skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and walk several miles per day.
• Quality & detail oriented.

Preferred: 

• Previous scale house experience
• Previous customer service experience
