• Assist in the roll grinding and chocking process
• Assist roll shop personnel in ensuring the overall quality of rolls processed and work roll chocking procedures in the roll shop
• Assist roll shop personnel in the accurate documentation and recording of roll data and chocking procedures
• Assist Grinder in continuous monitoring of the functionality of the grinder and participate in the repair and maintenance on the roll grinder
• Assist on roll changes and setup to grinders as needed
• Responds and corrects operational and quality concerns as necessary
• Assists other roll shop personnel as needed
• Operates overhead cranes
• Various housekeeping duties

• Willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime

Preferred

• Roll Shop or Machine Shop experience
