Responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance related to our production line
• Responsible for maintaining and improving workplace safety and engagement in TCOS
• Maximize facility availability and appropriate control of maintenance costs
• Hire, train and develop maintenance team
• Work with Maintenance Planner to Plan, coordinate, and organize all maintenance work (repair turns, outages, and upgrades) in the safest and most efficient manner
• Project engineering and planning with Plant Manager, Engineers, Production Supervisors, Maintenance Technicians, Contractors and Vendors
• Apply mechanical, electrical, and software skills to solve problems
• Maintain equipment drawings and documentation
• Maintenance related purchasing; obtain best price, quality, and delivery
• Evaluate, maintain, and purchase necessary spare parts and operating supplies
• Develop, schedule, and maintain preventive maintenance program
Required
• Strong self-starter, highly motivated, excellent safety record and leadership abilities
• Ability to safely lead and supervise a team
• Project and preventive management experience
• Effective troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, well organized, self-directed and motivated
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, automation control systems, combustion furnace equipment and hydraulics
• Strong problem solving and computer skills
• Demonstrated understanding of plant control systems: PLCs, HMIs, drives, actuators, and instrumentation.
• NFPA70E working knowledge
Preferred
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
• Rockwell automation knowledge
• Galvanizing knowledge
