We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our growing sales team. This role combines the strategic depth of inside sales with the relationship-building power of client interactions. The successful candidate will proactively engage clients, drive revenue growth, and cultivate strong customer relationships. This position serves as a development path toward a Regional Outside Sales Manager role, which requires a willingness to travel and relocate for future opportunitirs.
▪ Develop proficiency in inside sales functions, including responding to customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
▪ Utilize Salesforce to manage customer data, track sales activities, and generate reports.
▪ Build and maintain strong relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
▪ Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and visits.
▪ Regularly visit current “house” accounts and new potential customers and attend various steel-related meetings and conferences.
▪ Understand and monitor the competitive environment and provide market intelligence to the sales team to help shape sales strategies.
▪ Assist with business development by identifying new customers, products, and opportunities.
▪ Work effectively with all departments to improve customer satisfaction.
▪ Prepare and monitor monthly sales and shipments forecast by customer.
▪ Coordinate and participate in customer visits, tours, etc.
