The Graphic Design Intern will assist in designing and developing large-scale woodgrain and other natural images for the Digital Print Line. The intern will gain hands-on experience in digital imaging, file preparation, and print production, contributing to the team’s creative and technical projects.

• Assist in editing and enhancing scanned images of wood boards and natural elements in Adobe Photoshop, following direction from customers and/or the Creative Director.
• Preflight files, identifying and correcting mistakes or flaws.
• Layout and impose images for print production under supervision.
• Help maintain and organize design files to ensure efficient workflow.
• Learn and assist in operating an industrial scanner, including moving objects on and off scanner beds.
• Gain experience with new software to help maintain and operate an Epson proofer.

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in graphic design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (including cloning, curves, and color correction).
• Understanding of color profiles and color management.
• Strong attention to detail and an excellent eye for color.
• General knowledge of the CMYK printing process.
• Ability to focus on repetitive and detailed tasks.
• Willingness to learn new programs and technical skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
