Overview

Join our team at COPPERWORKS and take on an exciting opportunity to develop, manage, and expand our Eastern US territory. We are looking for a driven individual who thrives in managing complex sales and is adept at identifying new opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. A strong focus on relationship-building and gathering valuable market insights will be essential for success in this role. Please note that frequent overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Takes full ownership of the assigned region, strategically planning, and executing sales initiatives
  • Builds and leverages strong relationships with contacts across a variety of functions within customer organizations
  • Manages territories’ accounts including market evaluation, margin analysis, forecasting, competitive market information gathering, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Regularly updates CRM with pertinent market and customer information
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Attends customer visits, trade shows, and industry events, ensuring a visible and active presence in our markets
  • Frequent overnight travel will be required to effectively manage the territory and meet with clients in person

Qualifications

  • Sales experience, 5-year minimum is preferred
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Exceptional and proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Salesforce or other CRM platform experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft products
