Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team.  The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity.  This role will also work closely with maintenance and production employees troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production lines.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering,  problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct process simulations and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address process deviations.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with automation and controls, in particular PLC's and motor drive systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
