Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the facility. Works closely with the department Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Maintenance Coordinators, Millwrights, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the department production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.

• Assist shift millwright with preventative maintenance, rounds, and breakdowns
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Good communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair
• React to emergency breakdowns

• Previous mechanical maintenance experience
• Mechanical aptitude & basic electrical knowledge
• Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, rigging, bearings, couplings, and print reading
• Ability to read technical writing and schematics preferred
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Autocad
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles preferred
