Brief Description: Mechanical maintenance supervision and support for the finishing production lines.

• Supervisors are responsible for driving all components of “Take Control of Safety” to their team. (High Risk Exposures, PSIF Initiatives, PSIF/SIF management, etc.)
• Support and lead a culture in which work is done safely or not at all.
• Toolbox talks (Safety Alerts, Safety Meetings, and other safety discussions)
• Maximize Mill availability rates and appropriate control of maintenance costs. Organize and supervise mechanical maintenance activities, down day planning, contractor management, and spare parts procurement. Direct responsibility for supervision of maintenance staff.

Required: 

• Extensive industrial mechanical maintenance experience
• A strong personal safety record
• Strong self-starting abilities
• Skilled at development, training, and instruction of workgroup personnel
• Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timeliness
• Team oriented with ability to work well as part of department leadership group and independently to achieve goals

Preferred: 

• Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technology with 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent.
