• Troubleshooting electrical equipment problems
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, project work and installation of electrical equipment
• Assist mechanics and operators with daily maintenance and ensure work is done safely
• Electrical equipment includes but is not limited to: Control systems (PLC’s), motors and drives (VFD’s), lighting and power distribution

Required

• Excellent safety record
• 1 year of industrial electrical experience
• Experienced in safely working on systems up to 480V
• Basic knowledge of power distribution, AC motors and motor control
• Experience in relay control circuits and/or PLC’s
• Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving and installation of electrical equipment
• Applicants must possess at least one of the following:
• Proven electrical aptitude – Electrical Test Score above 70%
• Technical military training related to electrical theory and maintenance
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the equipment described above in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

• At least 2 years working as an electrician or technician in an industrial environment
• Experienced in safely working on systems up to and including 480 VAC
• Good working knowledge and understanding of Allen Bradley or GE PLC’s and drives
