Responsible for the safe operation of locomotives/railcar movers for the movement of rail cars

• Working safely and following all safety procedures
• Preventative maintenance and safe operation of locomotive
• Must be willing to cross train on the following: Track-Mobile/Shuttle-Wagon, Forklifts, Scales, Track Crane, Loader, Skid-Steer, etc.
• Willing and able to cover shifts and fill in for overtime when necessary
• Keep work areas clean and free of debris
• Inspection of Scrap
• Any other tasks/duties asked of by the Supervisor

•  Practical computer skills 
• Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
