Mechanical maintenance in Hot Mill equipment and systems. Work with Hot Mill personnel to address issues and to drive the Hot Mill production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills and ability to repair systems: Combustion systems, fluid power systems, mechanical power transmission systems, water systems, pneumatic systems, etc. This position requires a strong ability to lead and perform repairs to the Hot Mill equipment.

Helpful:

• A basic understanding of PLC’s, HMI’s, and electromechanical equipment that will aid in troubleshooting with the Hot Mill electrical maintenance team.
• Technical training and certifications

Required:

• An excellent safety and attendance record 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and previous mechanical maintenance experience
• Self-Driven and willing to learn
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft office applications, hydraulics, pneumatics, grease systems, gearing, coupling alignment, rigging, overhead cranes, pendant cranes and precision instruments. Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, and blueprint reading mechanical and hydraulic.
