Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the facility. Works closely with the department Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Maintenance Coordinators, Millwrights, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the department production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.

• Assist shift millwright with preventative maintenance, rounds, and breakdowns
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Good communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment and use of online maintenance tracking
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs
• Inventory Management of spare parts

Requirements: 

• Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, and print reading
• Basic mechanical knowledge.

Preferred: 

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, grease systems, gear/shaft alignment, rigging, bearings, couplings 
• Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
• Previous mechanical maintenance experience
• Computer skills to include Word and Excel
