Overview

Weigh trucks/rail cars in/out and properly place into scale system.

Ensure arriving Scrap and other Material is properly vetted for radiation.

Discuss plant safety procedures and Information with drivers.

All other duties assigned will be done in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with drivers and other departments with professionalism
  • Work overtime when required
  • Weigh inbound/outbound trucks
  • Coordinate with yard employees on truck/rail placement
  • Proper organization of paperwork and excel Logs
  • Communication and problem solving
  • Working in Access NS - tracking problem loss credits and demurrage.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Practical computer skills
  • Excel proficient

Preferred

  • 2- Year Verifiable work experience in an industrial environment.
