• Rotating shift work including nights and weekends
• Welding, Cutting, and Fabrication
• Maintain all Mechanical Systems related to the Rolling Process
• Troubleshoot and repair of High Pressure Hydraulic Systems
• Rigging, Crane, and Mobile Equipment operation
• Read and interpret Blue Prints and Piping Diagrams
• Work with Operations/Maintenance groups to ensure continued production
• Work with computer based Maintenance Systems

• Safety Oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior Mechanical Maintenance experience in some or all of the following areas: Welding & Fabricating, Industrial Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Manual & Automatic Lubrication Systems, Water Systems, Pipe Fitting, Rigging, Bearing & Coupling replacement, Ability to read prints and schematics
• Strong willingness to learn
• Understanding of Physics (Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Force and Power Transmission)
• Understanding of Mathematics (Geometry, Trigonometry)
• Willing to work Scheduled and Non-scheduled overtime
• Strong Teamwork Focus
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to multi-task & prioritize assignments with production needs

Preferred

• At least 2 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience
