Maintenance and repair of mill stands, chocks, bearings, guides, mill equipment. Coordinate work with other Stand Maintenance Technicians.

• Daily inspection, repair, and rebuilding of mill stands
• Provide mechanical support on down days.

Required: 

• Excellent safety record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience
• Print reading
• Rigging experience
• Cutting/welding experience
• General computer skills
• Great attendance record
• Ability to work with others

Preferred: 

• Mobile equipment experience
• Overhead crane certification
• Hydraulic experience
• Good mechanical background
