Responsible for safely and effectively processing commercial traffic from arrival through the departure process.

• Efficiently and accurately coordinate commercial, scrap and commodity traffic through the inbound/outbound truck scales.
• Communicate clear directions/safety expectations to all carriers entering the facility.
• Understand and operate the scales, radiation detectors and associated computer systems.
• Understand and operate multiple transportation computer applications.

Required

• Moderate computer skills and experience.
• Ability to receive, communicate and organize information quickly and effectively pass information to appropriate outlets.
• Ability to work with a wide range of persons and communication levels.

Preferred

• Previous scale house experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
