This position is responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance in the Melting department. Schedule is swing shift 6-6, 4 on 4 off. 

• Cover maintenance vacations
• Work with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBA
• Perform preventative maintenance, project work and installation of new equipment
• Welding and fabrication as needed
• Monitor and ensure safe work practices
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation
• Perform all other tasks assigned by leadership

Required:

• Excellent safety record, strong communication skills, self-motivated and ability to work with others
• Previous industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical / mechanical aptitude
• Ability to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBA

Preferred:

• Electrical experience
• PLC knowledge
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Formal electrical or automation training
• Basic knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
