Sales and promotion of SDI’s Flat Rolled Products.

 Regularly visit current and potential steel customers for soliciting orders.
 Discover and effectively communicate customer needs and expectations to appropriate people within SDI.
 Respond to customer inquiries effectively and promptly.
 Prepare and monitor monthly sales and shipments forecast by customer.
 Develop new customers within the territory for increasing revenue.
 Work effectively with Operations, Sales, Technical Service, Transportation, and Product Development to improve Customer Satisfaction.
 Monitor order performance, benchmark competition, and provide verbal and written feedback reports.
 Develop ways to maximize revenue and margins.
 Coordinate and participate in customer visits, tours, etc.
 Develop a strong rapport with customer’s entire organization.

Required

• A 4-Year College degree in an applicable discipline.
• 2 Years of successful Sales or Customer Service experience.
• Proven leadership, verbal & written communications, and presentation skills.
• Strong people skills and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic. Self-starter.  Positive outlook.  Team Player.

Preferrred

          -  Degree in Business
          -  Sales experience in flat rolled carbon steel.
          -  Knowledge of Galvanized, Galvalume and Painted Products markets
